DORAN - HEALTH AND SAFETY Growing with Quality, Building with Safety

Doran is committed to providing the leadership required to protect its people, property, the environment, and the public. We recognize the rights of all employees to work in a safe and healthy environment. Doran’s priority is to operate and complete all work in the safest manner possible. In addition to its Corporate Health and Safety Program, a comprehensive site-specific safety plan consistent with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and industry best practices is developed for each project. The Site-Specific Safety Plan is regularly reviewed and adjusted to suit construction phasing, revisions to work zones, and operational criteria.

In 2021 Doran continued their pursuit for health and safety excellence and started the process of obtaining the COR certification through the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association. The Certificate of Recognition (COR®) is a national accreditation standard that verifies full implementation of an employer’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The criteria used by the Program are recognized nationwide, ensuring employers have an effective and robust health and safety program in place. The use of effective policies, processes, and comprehensive training programs are the foundation of our safe and successful construction sites. As a result, Doran has earned and maintained the IHSA COR certification.
