Rhythm
High-Rise Residential
The Rhythm Project is the first phase of a much larger development that will rejuvenate the entire Westgate area, bringing a whole new experience to both shoppers and residents. The project involved the demolition of the existing restaurant pad adjacent to the Westgate Shopping Centre where a new 24-storey mixed-use tower with a 4-storey podium is currently being constructed. The new 214,000ft2 structure will contain 213 residential units with more than 200 parking spaces and approximately 20,000ft2 of retail space. The 5th level of the building will feature a variety of sleek, high-end amenities including a cross-fit centre, meditation room, e-sports lounge, and shuffle-board room to name a few, with access to outdoor amenities on the podium.
Doran’s sister company, Taggart Construction, was awarded the heavy civil scope of work including excavation, demolition, site services, and building caissons. All services for the Westgate development were maintained throughout construction and final connections seamlessly completed after-hours. This is just one example of how Doran Contractors can leverage the power of the wider Taggart Group of Companies to provide unmatched, wide-ranging service to our clients.
