Waterford Barrhaven Retirement Community

Waterford Barrhaven Retirement Community

Retirement Living

This breathtaking retirement development located on the bustling corner of Marketplace Avenue and Longfields Drive is one of the largest projects completed to date by the Doran team. The development encompasses the entire block and consists of two concrete structure buildings, surrounded by a landscaped oasis. The first building is an 8-storey, 200-unit retirement facility with dedicated levels for assisted living, independent living, and apartments. The bulk of the amenities are located in this building and include a luxurious salt-water pool and spa, cinema room, and main dining room which offers panoramic views of the lush exterior grounds.

The second structure is a 9-storey, 100-unit apartment rental building for seniors featuring a mix of one and two bedroom apartments ranging in size from 500ft2 to 1,400ft2. Building amenities include a coffee bar, fireplace lounge, and fitness centre.

The two structures are connected by a link on the second floor for residents to access and enjoy all the amenities each building offers. The high-quality finishes are astounding in each building. Attention to detail and high-quality performance throughout construction was crucial. The exterior grounds are lavishly landscaped with various outdoor features including gardens, waterfalls, and terraces, instilling a sense of peace and calm for residents.
