Steps away from the historic Parkdale Market and minutes from the Ottawa River Parkway, the Wellington West Retirement Community is a modern retirement community providing residents with a sense of well-being and comfort. The 9-storey, 150,000ft2 building features 111 suites and two levels of underground parking. Levels One and Two provide amenity space for the Independent Living Suites which include a salt-water pool, fitness rooms, library, chapel, theatre, dining room, kitchen, and activity rooms. Level Three is specifically designed for residents who require some assistance with day-to-day activities and also has a number of amenities including a spa and exterior rooftop terrace. Levels Four to Nine are the independent living suites all complete with kitchenettes equipped with microwaves and refrigerators. The fourth floor of the building incorporates balconies to add visual interest to the west and north facades and the building itself incorporates significant glazing, impressive entrances, and aesthetic animation along Parkdale and Wellington.
